SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS

Clif is a charismatic speaker who has been connecting with audiences since he was elected high school class president. In three different Michigan State Police graduations, his peers selected him to represent them as their class orator. He has proudly and enthusiastically represented the Michigan State Police, the Napoleon Township Police Department, and the National Park Service in numerous public presentations.

While a detective, he taught in every Michigan State Police recruit school and advanced trooper school from 1993 until his retirement in 2001. Twice, he was nominated as Trooper of the Year. While serving as a Napoleon Township police officer, he was contracted by a law enforcement training consortium to provide a variety of Michigan Commission On Law Enforcement Service (MCOLES) approved investigative classes to in-service police officers.

As a ranger with the National Park Service, he has provided custom-designed training such as Reducing Occurrences of Assaults on Rangers (ROAR), Dynamic Defensive Tactics (DDT), Patrol Investigative Excellence (PIE), Within Arm’s Reach (WAR), and Law Enforcement Water Survival Training (LEWST).
Now, using his stable of published books in the Paths Crossed series as a springboard, Clif exposes his audiences to “Lessons Learned in the Line of Duty,” in an entertaining and meaningful way. His custom designed presentations on a “Police Career” will undoubtedly enlighten audiences in schools, service clubs, and senior centers. Presentation genres include:
• Interactive Presentation to Law Enforcement Students
• Citizen’s Enlightenment on a “Police Career”
• Keynote speaker for academy graduations
